With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month the nation’s focus was heightened on the prevalence of breast cancer affecting women [and men].
As events and informational campaigns are held throughout the nation and in the news, S. Darrell Lee, M.D. dedicated a week in October to providing complimentary treatments to breast cancer survivors. “We have long supported breast cancer research and decided this year to offer a beautifying and relaxing treatment for survivors who have endured so much in their battle against this life threatening disease,” states Dr. Lee.
The practice aligned with Pink Tie Friends to reach out to survivors and establish future fundraising programs for this very worthy cause. The complimentary facials were available exclusively to breast cancer survivors October 26th – 30th.
